Arjun Rampal born on November 26th, 1972 is a renowned model and an outstanding Bollywood actor. He won Screen's Most Promising Male Newcomer Award for his wonderful acting skills in "Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat", "Moksha" and "Deewaanapan".
Arjun Rampal, the hottest model-turned-actor was born in Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh State in India. His parents are father Amarjeet Rampal and mother Gwen. Arjun Rampal, along with his younger sister, pursued his education at the prestigious Kodaikanal International School located in Palani Hills, Tamil Nadu where his mother worked as a teacher. He later graduated from Hindu College at Delhi. It was here in a discotheque that the stars smiled on Arjun Rampal for he was discovered by renowned designer Rohit Bal.
The unknown Arjun Rampal became one of the hot models in India within no time as designer Rohit Bal chiseled him and molded him into a most sought-after model. His cute clean-cut face and a great hot physique made him an instantaneous hit with women. Arjun Rampal also won the International Indian Film Academy's 'Face of the Year Award' in 2002.
Arjun Rampal's Bollywood journey began when Rajiv Rai the famous writer, editor and director spotted him and offered him to appear in a music video 'Don't Marry' with model Namrata Baruwah. Later Arjun Rampal made his debut in films with Rajiv Rai's "Pyaar, Ishq Aur Mohabbat" in 2001. Though the film did not click at the box office, Arjun Rampal proved his mettle as an actor. Since then Arjun Rampal has acted in over twenty movies as of 2007 playing different kinds of characters and proving himself that he is an actor par excellence.
Besides acting, Arjun Rampal turned producer and made a film "I See You" in 2006. As fate would have it the movie did not click at the box office and failed to appeal to the masses.
The hot Arjun Rampal married the awesome beauty Miss India 1986 and supermodel Mehr Jesia; and they together have two daughters named Mahikaa, born on January 17, 2002 and Myra, born June 2005.
