Urvashi Sharma, the sexy young Indian actress hails from a middle-class Punjabi family from Delhi. Urvashi Sharma moved to Mumbai to fulfill her Bollywood dreams. She made her debut in Bollywood with the romantic thriller “Naqaab: Disguised Intentions”. This film directed by Abbas Mastan had included Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna as the leading stars. Urvashi has been signed for an eight-film contract with Tips Films-the production house that produced ‘Naqaab’. Her role in "Naqaab" was very important one integrated to the central plot of the film, which needed an experienced actress. She made an impact in the Bollywood film industry even though the film turned out to be a damp squib. Despite ‘Naqaab’ being her very first film, Urvashi displays excellent screen presence.
Before her entry into Bollywood, Urvashi Sharma established her career as a model. Urvashi’s first modeling assignment was for Ponds, then Garnier, followed by Kit Kat and Monte Carlo. She also did modeling for TBZ and Globus. With striking features, grace and professionalism she earned fame in the modeling circuits.
Urvashi Sharma had also done music videos "Something Something Meri Jaan" with Mika and “ Doorie” song with Atif Aslam. Before joining the film industry Urvashi Sharma attended Vidhur’s Creating Characters acting school. She is also a trained Kathak dancer.
